Day 3: What happened on Thursday , 2007-06-26

Despite a night of football - Germany beating Turkey in the EURO 2008 Semi-final - participants were up on their feet again this morning, not to miss the keynote.

The keynote was given by Joshua Bloch, Principal Engineer at Google. He presented some chapters from the 2nd edition of his book Effective Java.

In his elegant and eloquent style he made his points on generics, enum types and concurrency.

After the talk he signed his new book, which was exclusively available at Jazoon'08.
